Just a perfect scenario for Joshua, his family and friends, and also me – the photographer. Sun, cute and welcoming little Church (St. Mary’s Church of England in Greenfield), loads of smiles, Joshua interested in everything that was going on around him. The whole ceremony was so easy going which gave me the opportunity to fit in well and catch those important moments.

It’s a photo reportage about Joshua’s special day…

I started off with family and friends meeting. Loads of hugs, kisses and hand shakes exchanged. Little Joshua got sooo much love from everyone that arrived. Then moving on to the Vicars service speech and blessings from God parents. Joshy wasn’t impressed with the oil sacring:-) When vicar approached him, Joshy smoothly pushed Vicars hand away which made everyone laugh.

Then we moved to Christening itself. Loved how Vicar let Joshy splash the holy water to ease him in to the process. The Christening was a lovely and smooth ceremony finished by few photos of Joshy with the closest family memebrs.

After the Christening everyone moved to Uppermill to celebrate the Christening and Joshy’s 1st birthday. The function was set up in the outside garden area of well know Muse. Again, it gave me perfect opportunity to get best shots possible using the best light possible – the sunlight.

I loved being the photographer on this special event. I felt very welcome. Thank you Killeen family for having me :-*
